About us
Middlers was founded in 2013 by Andy and Lynsey Middler, who had extensive experience working at local practices and one of the Big 4 firms, PwC. They recognized that a quicker, leaner setup could make accounting much easier for small, one-person businesses.
They set out to create a service tailored for freelancers, consultants, and contractors, ensuring that these clients would never again feel like small fish in a large pond. With Middlers, clients are kept up to date, receive accounts and tax returns in record time, and never have to chase their accountant. It’s a fast, effortless service.
Founded and based in Durham, Middlers expanded throughout the North East with offices in Bishop Auckland, Darlington, Stockton, and Sunderland. They now serve clients throughout the UK with a fully online service.
